The BOB (Bank of Baroda) was incorporated in India in 1908. At that time the bank has a small building in Baroda city in the Gujarat state. BOB Bank has moved its head office in Mumbai. The Bank of Baroda gave its first charge card in 1984 called BOBcard. The services of Credit cards, Debit cards & Forex services were established in 1995 known as BOBcards LTD. It was the first non banking company of India which issue credit cards. The BOBcards are acceptable in more than 18,000 Merchant establishments all over the country.
